Where2Shop is an independent, one-person project. It is not owned by, affiliated with, or sponsored by Coles, Woolworths, Aldi or any other retailer.
Australian grocery prices have become a weekly sport: the same basket can differ by 20% or more between chains, and the half-price cycle rewards whoever keeps track. Keeping track manually is tedious — so this site does it instead. Build your basket once, and it tells you where that basket is cheapest this week. That's it. No account, no app to install, no newsletter popup.
No retailer pays to be listed and none can pay for a better ranking — the comparison is the product, so distorting it would defeat the point. The full methodology, including the limits of the data, is documented on How we get our prices.
Use the feedback button inside the app — every report lands directly with the developer and gets read. Bad matches and price errors usually get fixed within the week.
For anything else — a problem with the Chrome extension, a question about how the comparison works, or a privacy request — email [email protected]. This is a one-person project, so replies are not instant, but every message is read.
If the extension stopped filling your cart after an update, Chrome may be waiting for you to approve a new permission: open chrome://extensions and check whether Where2Shop needs re-enabling.
